IBM S&S gives you a subscription to application upgrades and patches. But it’s up to you to get them and apply them. It also allows you to log tickets for escalation. IMT’s AMS offerings range from helping you apply those upgrades and patches and also assist of even take over issue reporting to IBM on your behalf. You must still maintain your IBM S&S contract for product compliance – but IMT AMS helps you make better use of that IBM S&S offers

Yes - you will receive access to the monitoring tools so you can self-monitor issues as well.

Yes – we have a small VM installed with a monitoring tools and we require access to an SMTP server for the email-based alerts

Monitoring tools allow IMT to track the application and support system health as well as observe trends in performance and capacity usage that allow us to plan and prevent issues. IMT’s AMS Monitoring services include solution specific knowledge that help to react quickly and provide advise base on real usage patterns.

IMT AMS Monitoring spans all layers of the system from application, file system and application servers up to business metrics. Monitoring data is collected and triggers specific actions depending on key value ranges and trends detected.
