Excelerated Consulting’s Government Estimates Update System (GEUS) is a TM1/Planning Analytics application that has been developed to satisfy the external budgeting and reporting requirements of Australian Commonwealth agencies. The system incorporates annual estimates, monthly estimates, and monthly actuals, modules.

GEUS is an application layer developed on the TM1/Planning Analytics platform. GEUS has the ability to incorporate customised programme structures, allowing CBMS programmes to be broken down to a lower level of detail by including sub-programme components. Adjustments are entered at the sub-programme level, and the inclusion of some automatic calculations (such as grant allocations, cash flow, and parameters) helps to reduce manual data entry.
Robust alignment of external estimates and actuals data

Flexible data entry and reporting
GEUS can capture, validate and report budget estimates for Administered, Departmental, and special accounts and eliminations. It manages the input and reporting of detailed adjustments to baseline estimates in a format confirming to business requirements including all meta data.
Comprehensive tracking and reporting of government measures
GEUS captures all data associated with Measures in sufficient detail for the generation of all measures tables in budget documentation, and to track Measures over time.
Integrated internal and external budgeting and reporting
Implementation of GEUS in conjunction with a TM1 internal budgeting and reporting solution enables agencies to develop their internal and external budgets within a single system that also holds actuals data loaded from the FMIS
