OpenShift Operator

The Red Hat Single Sign-On Operator automates Red Hat Single Sign-On administration in OpenShift. You can use this Operator to create custom resources (CRs), which automate administrative tasks. Note that The Red Hat Single Sign-On Operator is in Technology Preview and is not yet fully supported.

    "Application deployment and monitoring made easy"

    Easy to view logs deploy and check status on the running application

    What do you dislike?

    more control on the application memory and usage allocations

    "Impactful Red Hat Openshift Containerize Application Solution"

    What do you like best?

    Red Hat OpenShift having best feature of containerize technology in current market which provides penalty of good features like built-in monitoring, Ease of use in small, medium and enterprise type of applications, security level and easy to manage. It gives us platform to deploy and automate your development process. It has one click deployment support which reduce effort to deploy application. It has continuous integration and release management.

    What do you dislike?

    There is very few corns for rat hat openshift application, - Difficult to find the failure using logs i.e. Log management - Limited support of application - Application monitoring support like Appdynamics - Hard to troubleshooting of my application(May be i'm new to openshift application) - Need improvement of documentation for each feature of rat hat openshift application - Very limited support of free account - License part should be pretty high compare to other application solution.

    Recommendation before go to production deployment, - Current deployment process - Pricing & budget - Usability of within different teams - Integration with your 3rd party vendor

    Openshift is a provide good choice for small, medium and enterprise level application and easy to learn how to distribute web applications in the cloud. Auto scaling of application when load is increased and decreased it works very well. Security and networking is very prominent and impressive.Integration with GIT was by default with openshift application and that makes us cloning the repo and making changes was straight forward. Easy to take snapshot of application. Rat hat openshift application provides good set of templates to start and deploy your application without making deep knowledge of openshift, you need to just follow the instruction.

    What do you like best?

    The libraries provided and extended futures provided as part of the packages

    What do you dislike?

    As I like the components provided by RedHat I definitely say NA for now

    All good with the level of support received from the team

    I am using osfi for last couple of weeks and found it very interesting and useful for everyone who like to use the components

    "Openshift is buzz word in market these days"

    What do you like best?

    I find this tool very simple in terms of use and handy in case of containerized application development. Since in today world, we are working on an arena where we need to deploy application on customer environment with little overhead wherein openshift plays a vital role.

    What do you dislike?

    There is no such dislike i would like to highlight, but yes if we can improve the Openshift UI a liitle bit more, that would be great.

    Less time for handling the containerized application

    "Using kubernetes , redhat have created an amazing product."

    What do you like best?

    Clear concepts. No confusion in management of PODS.

    What do you dislike?

    Nothing much. Just a thing that redhat is being releasing new versions fastly.

    It resolves the manual work which is being done in kubernetes . Also doesn't give root level access.
