Aspera High-Speed Data Transfer
By IBM
Certified enterprise ready
Moving the world’s data at maximum speed with fast file transfer solutions built on the award-winning IBM FASP protocol, IBM Aspera software moves data of any size across any distance.
IBM Aspera takes a different approach to tackling the challenges of big data movement over global WANs. Rather than optimize or accelerate data transfer, Aspera completely eliminates underlying bottlenecks using a breakthrough transport technology. It fully utilizes available network bandwidth to maximize speed and quickly scale up with no theoretical limit. Available as part of IBM Cloud Pak for Integration built on Red Hat® OpenShift® ready to accelerate your journey to cloud.
FASP Transport Technology
At the heart of the Aspera solutions is the patented FASP transport software technology. The groundbreaking protocol overcomes the traditional limitations of TCP-based transfers to maximize the usage of available bandwidth, without impacting other network traffic. The result is unmatched transfer speeds, end-to-end security, reliability and exceptional bandwidth control.
Data Transfer Security
To ensure exceptional security for business-critical digital assets, Aspera uses open standards cryptography for user authentication, data encryption and data-integrity verification.
Robust Set of RESTful APIs
A comprehensive set of APIs to integrate Aspera technology into web, desktop or mobile applications.
